I have gone to cookies and permissions and scrolled through the list but nowhere can I find the picture in picture mode. I also went to the flags on edge and there are no Global Media Controls. I even went onto my Microsoft edge extensions to add an extension for it and I typed in picture-in-picture but it said that there are no results for that.

In Edge there's none of that. Here are 2 ways on how you can do PIP video. The Easy Way. The easy way is to right click in the video and click Picture in Picture. Some websites like YouTube has its own custom right menu, in that case you double right click in the video to show Edge's own right context menu. The Not-so-easy Way

I understand that you want to enable PIP Picture-in-Picture on Edge. Open Edge and paste the following link in the address bar: edge://flags/. Search for"Global Media Controls". Click on the dropdown menu and change it to"Enabled". This should enable the feature in Edge.

Allow multiple picture in picture windows. Currently if you click another video to go into picture in picture mode it overrides the current one. It would be nice to allow multiple PIP windows at once (like Firefox), so you can follow along with two different streams (say if you want a live feed plus commentary feeds of the same event). .

In reply to Greg Carmack's post on February 16, 2022. The option was removed from Edge by Microsoft, there's no way to DISABLE via Settings menu or Flags, but the Picture in Picture is still active in every video.

Click on Custom. 5. Select Your own image under Background. 6. Click on Upload, and browse for an image you want to set as your New Tab Page background. 7. The image now applied. You are done. To replace the custom image, click on Remove, and upload a new image of your choice.

I want to completely disable picture in picture on the Edge browser. How do I do this? To me it's just a new form of popup that is constantly annoying me.

Yes, my Edge is integrated with my Microsoft Account. When I click on the 3 dots in the right hand corner of Edge, I then go to Settings. A screen pops up that is my Profile screen. At top there is a section that appears like the below picture. As you can see the picture is of a woman. (An orchestra conductor).
